Web developer/entrepreneur based in Tel Aviv, originally from the UK. Founding partner and manager of several sites:

  • Carbon Catalog. Carbon offsets are a growing way for companies and individuals to neutralize their contribution to global warming. Carbon Catalog is an independent directory of carbon offsets, launched in September 2007.
  • Family Echo. Family Echo makes it easy to draw a family tree online and share it with relatives, including photos and biographical details. Family Echo launched in March 2007 and has already collected over a million profiles.
  • Web Sudoku. Sudoku is an international puzzle craze. Launched in 2005, Web Sudoku is the world's most popular puzzle website, enjoyed by 250,000 unique visitors daily. The site sells a number of Sudoku-related products.
  • Copyscape. A plagiarism search engine which finds copies of content online. Premium services are offered alongside free basic searches. Copyscape launched in 2004 and serves around 200,000 content owners monthly.
  • Google Alert. Launched in 2003, this uses the Google API to monitor your searches and email you new pages found. Free and premium subscriptions are available. Google Alert has press from USA Today, BBC and more.
  • Sig Software. Macintosh shareware sold online since 1994, including Classic Menu, Email Merge and NameCleaner. Sig Software has received several awards and been covered by TechTV, CNN and more.

I also advise a number of Internet companies on technology and strategy.
