Founding partner and manager of:
- Question2Answer. An open source platform for Q&A sites, built on PHP/MySQL. Feature rich and easy to use. Question2Answer (Q2A) was first released in April 2010 and is currently running on over 2,000 websites.
- Copyscape. A plagiarism search engine which finds copies of content online. Offers a free plagiarism checker along with premium services. Copyscape launched in 2004 and is used by millions of content owners worldwide.
- Web Sudoku. Sudoku is an international puzzle craze. Launched in 2005, Web Sudoku is the world's most popular Sudoku site, enjoyed by two million unique visitors monthly. The site sells several Sudoku-related products.
- Family Echo. Family Echo makes it easy to draw a family tree online and share it with relatives, including photos and biographical details. Family Echo launched in 2007 and has over 10 million profiles stored. In December 2010, a spin-off site named Magic Baby Names was released, which provides baby name suggestions.
- Giga Alert. Launched in 2003, this monitors the web for your search terms and emails you new pages found. Free and premium subscriptions are available. Formerly called Google Alert, it has 100,000s of registered users.
- Sig Software began selling my shareware in 1994. Over 30,000 copies sold but no longer in development.
- Carbon Catalog is a directory of carbon credits. Launched in 2007 and now part of Ecosystem Marketplace.
I also advise a number of Internet companies on technology and strategy.
