I specialize in creating software and websites which are easy to use but apply complex technology behind the scenes. This combination lets you appeal to mainstream users while raising significant barriers to competition.I'm particularly interested in Internet projects with a societal dimension. I believe in the power of open access to information and am currently building a new platform for knowledge production and consumption.
As the financial crisis subsides, it looks like the coming decades will endure four related problems - climate change, oil depletion, water shortages and food inflation. I'm interested in ways the Internet can help, starting with Carbon Catalog.
